Academic Information and Projects




While in the Masters Degree program at Cal State Fullerton, my thesis work centered on the eugenics movement in California before the second world war. I hope to continue this research at some point in the future. Here is a partial portfolio of my work in history:

Accepted as a member of the Phi Alpha Theta historical honor society, Alpha-Gamma-Nu Chapter, October 15, 1987

Awarded B.A. from the University of California at Irvine, June 1988.

Was the first recipient of the Glenn and Dorothy Dumke Fellowship for graduate study in history and public policy, June 1993

Served as commentator for the 24th Annual Philosophy Symposium, March 1994, responding to an essay byUCLA's Dr. Gary Nash entitled "The Great Multicultural Debate"

Served as group presentation judge for Orange County Department of Education's "Orange County History Day," 1994 and 1995

Served as president of the Theta Pi chapter of Phi Alpha Theta for 1994-95

Currently acting as historical consultant for an upcoming television documentary on the pre-WWII eugenics movement in the United States
