From 17th Street:
Take 17th Street toward downtown. Go over railroad bridge and turn right on 12th Avenue (17th Street ends here so you have to turn right). Turn right on 16th Street and follow it 2 blocks to where it ends, at the PRR Expressway (10th Ave.). Turn right and follow the signs for 36 South. You will take a curving ramp that will also say Union Avenue.On Union Avenue look for 20th street and turn right. We are the big brick house right there on the corner.
Alternate Route from 17th Street:
On 17th Street heading into downtown, look for Boyer Candy Co. on the left. Turn left immediately after the big white building. You are turning on Margaret Ave. Follow Margaret Avenue straight, over tracks, straight through stop sign, and you will run into Union Avenue. You will see the big Victorian House on your right, but you will need to go south on Union Avenue and around the block in back to get to it.
From 220 coming north to Altoona:
Take Frankstown Road Exit from 99. Take Frankstown Road toward Altoona, cross Plank Road / Pleasant Valley Blvd and you will be on Rt. 36 North. Follow Route 36 signs. Turn left on 20th Street and the big Victorian house is right there.
