1975 Gottshall Family Reunion

The annual reunion of the descendants of the late Harry and Lida (Barnhart) Gottshall was held Sunday, Au. 17 at the home of Betty Gottshall and Miriam Niemend at Newton Hamilton. There were 101 members and guests, the largest attendance ever recorded. Four of the 10 children born to the couple are living and were present with their families. A picnic lunch was served at the noon hour. The invocation was given by Robert Brunner. Glen and Arlene Delozier were in charge of the reunion. They conducted a short business meeting. Irving and Carole (Gottshall) Lindsey were elected to take care of the next year's reunion. There was a drawing for each age group. Winners were:

Age 1-3 Jendy Burchfield; 3-6, (girl), Melissa Gottshall; 3-6, (boy), Brooks Brunner; teenage boy, Doug Keagy; teenage girl, Betty Mowery, and adult, Vicki Gottshall. The door prize was won by Alice Hart.

The afternoon was spent with games for the children conducted by Carole Lindsey. The adult games were conducted by Helen. . .[remainder of text missing]
